Table grapes

The table grape represents for us only something less than 1% of the surface that we advise.

We work only in one farm that counts among its crops with table grapes, with varieties of American selections very new and of high commercial value. But it is really rare to find this crop, which is expensive to make and very labor-demanding, in Western Andalusia.

Avocado

Avocados represent for us 3,3% of the area we advise.

We work in 5 farms that produce mainly or have among their crops an avocado plantation.

In one of the most important projects that we advise, which already has planted avocados,

the surface grows exponentially every year.

Olive

The olive is for us just over 6% of the surface that we advise.

We work in 7 farms that produce mainly or have among their crops some type of olive plantation.

We see something of olive of double aptitude (Fresh / Mill) and almost everything with destiny mill. We see plantations in intensive system and many in superintensive.

Stone fruit

The peach tree is for us something less than 8,5% of the total area that we advise.

We work in 7 farms that produce mainly or have among their crops some type of peach plantation.

We visited farms that produce basically peach and nectarine, some plum, some interspecific and almost nothing of Paraguayan or apricot. In Huelva the plantations are usually covered under greenhouse and in Seville it is grown outdoors.

Almonds

The almond trees represent for us 30% of the surface that we advise.

We work in 25 farms that produce mainly or have among their crops almond plantations.

We see many of the Variety / Rootstock combinations that are grown mostly in Spain right now. We see self-fertile American varieties and most of the Spanish and French self-fertile hard-shelled varieties of great commercial importance. We see farming systems in intensive, super intensive and even some plantation in dry land. And we work with plantations from the project to some that can have 8 and up to 10 years, today.

Citrus

The citrus fruits represent for us 52% of the surface that we advise.

We work in 29 farms that mainly produce or have among their crops some type of citrus fruit.

Specifically we see:

* almost all orange varieties (Fukumoto, Navelina, Navel Foyos, Salustiana, Late Lane, Powell, Chislet, Rhode, Kirkwood, Valencia Late, Valencia Delta, Valencia Midknight, Valencia Ruby, Valencia Lavalle, Barberina and a wide collection of oranges for Industry)
* Grapefruit (basically Star Ruby)
* Tangerine (Clemenville, Nadorcot, Tango, Leanri, …)
* Innovative planting systems such as Superintensive, which, in this crop, is not at all common …
