It is one of the fundamental pieces in the management of intensive fruit crops. For its control we would perform the following actions:

  1. Determination of the water needs of the crop in each age and phenological stage
  2. Adaptation of these needs to the reality of the irrigation system and the edaphic conditions
  3. Preparation of the corresponding irrigation program
  4. Monitoring the effectiveness of the program through:
    · Continuous observation of the crop
    · Soil moisture sensors
    · Volumetric or impulse counters
    · Plant sensors (dendrometers, Scholander’s camera, …)
